Support the Napier to Hastings Expressway
The 4 laning of the Napier to Hastings Expressway is vital to the growth of the Hawke’s Bay Region. This project will help improve safety, provide greater inter-city access to the airport and hospital.
It will support efforts being made to remove heavy vehicles from Marine Parade in Napier and cater for the predicted 50% freight volume growth at Napier Port by 2026.
Labour has not committed to this road project. We are asking the Government to commit to the 4 laning of the Napier to Hastings Expressway from Hawke’s Bay Airport to Longlands Road.
